AROMATHERAPY | SWEDISH MASSAGE | REFLEXOLOGY | HOT  STONE  MASSAGE | INDIAN  HEAD  MASSAGE | HOLISTIC  FACIALS | HOPI  EAR  CANDLING

Each treatment is tailored to suit you as an individual, your treatment can be as short or as long as you like, (for instance you can have a back massage lasting 15 minutes, or a complete treatment lasting an hour plus).  The therapies can also be `mixed and matched’ - an invigorating Swedish Massage could be concluded with a facial massage.   There follows a brief resume of all the therapies on offer, together with details of special rates and offers.

AROMATHERAPY - a full body massage combined with the use of essential oils to ease aches and pains, ensure total relaxation and promote a sense of well-being.  This treatment (combined with sensible exercises to strengthen the muscles of the spine) can really help to alleviate back problems.

SWEDISH MASSAGE - Great for cellulite!!  This full body massage is a more invigorating treatment, using quicker and stronger techniques than aromatherapy, the tissues are picked up and rolled quite firmly to rid the muscles of lactic acid build-up, which is the cause of a lot of muscular pain.  Regular treatments and diet improvements can improve or possibly banish cellulite.

REFLEXOLOGY - a treatment using pressure points and firm massage on the feet, unblocking energy channels and so enabling the body to better heal itself.  If you have not experienced reflexology before, you will be surprised how good this treatment can make you feel, and it is so relaxing too.  It is an ideal treatment for someone who is not comfortable  or indeed able to lie on a couch for any length of time.

HOT  STONE  MASSAGE - this treatment can be used either on its own or incorporated into any other massage treatment.  The stones are volcanic basalt, and are heated and then used in the therapists’ hands to make the effects of the strokes used even deeper - the heat of the stones relaxes the muscles and tissues quicker.  Large stones can be placed on the body (particularly the lower back) to deeply relax before the muscles are worked on.  The stones feel just like hands and fingers to the client, and are used in just the same way.  Stones are especially good for working on adhesions (knots or nodules) in the tissues, and make this a particularly deep and relaxing treatment.

INDIAN  HEAD  MASSAGE -  a lot of people do not understand exactly what this therapy is, but it is not just the head that is worked on!   The upper back and shoulders are worked first, followed by the neck, scalp and finally the face.  This treatment is done through the clothes, with the client seated on a chair.  Sometimes a table-top massage station is used, or a pillow, whatever the client finds most comfortable.  This therapy is wonderful for releasing  tight shoulders, relieving headaches and sinus problems, and can also stimulate scalp hair growth.

HOLISTIC  FACIALS - improve your skin tone and appearance without the use of expensive fillers or Botox!  Facial massage techniques can leave your skin positively glowing, and visibly improve and stimulate the muscles of the face and neck.  This treatment usually includes a full facial cleanse, exfoliate, tone and mask.  Before the mask is applied a lovely relaxing head/neck/shoulder massage is carried out, using acupressure points on the face.

HOPI  EAR  CANDLING - this therapy is absolutely wonderful for those suffering from blocked sinuses, headaches, excess ear wax, and can help to soothe the irritating symptoms of tinnitus.  A therapy which is well thought of by Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists, it incorporates a neck shoulder and facial massage to help relieve congestion.
